Solar Boat - Egypt
Located near the Grand Egyptian Museum, the Solar Boat building houses nearly 3,000 m² of Barrisol Lumière Acoustique® 3D waves.
Made from our Biosourced® sheet, these undulating shapes dress the ceiling with elegance and evoke the waves that carried the Solar Boat, establishing a direct link between the architecture of the site and the story it tells.
Chosen for its low environmental impact, our biosourced solution boasts an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) of just 1.36 kg CO₂/m². It is 100% recyclable, while our profiles incorporate 80% recycled aluminium.
This project fully embodies Barrisol's expertise, demonstrating our ability to design innovative architectural solutions where design, technology and environmental performance are harmoniously combined.
