Barrisol at the Venice Biennale with an immersive work of art

Barrisol is supporting the artists Barbora Šlapetová and Lukáš Rittstein for their installation "How to Reach the Sky", presented at the Venice Biennale at the Fondazione Giorgio Cini.

This monumental work uses almost 400 m² of Barrisol sheets to create an immersive experience that brings together an indigenous community in West Papua and the world of space exploration.

The fruit of more than 25 years of artistic research, this collaboration is part of a wider approach exploring the links between myth, science and technology, already initiated through several international exhibitions and installations.

Through sculptures, films and scenographic devices, the work questions our relationship with the sky and the unknown, while highlighting the material as a vector of emotion and narrative.

In addition to its aesthetic and technical qualities, the Barrisol solution offers an essential advantage: its modularity. Easy to dismantle and reinstall, it allows works of art to travel and adapt to different exhibition spaces.

With Barrisol, technical innovation becomes a genuine medium for artistic creation.
