The museum of modern and contemporary art of Amsterdam houses a collection of more than 90 000 artworks of the 20 and 21st century.
In September 2012, the new extension of 9423 sqm has been inaugurated after 8 years of construction.
Next to the old brick building 1895, the extension hosts galleries, an auditorium, offices, the museum shop and a restaurant.
The white matt acoustic stretched ceiling has been chosen to absorb acoustic resonance and improves the acoustic comfort.
