IPOP x Barrisol: a story written in Mulhouse

The Musée National de l'Automobile in Mulhouse recently played host to a major event with the presentation of the new IPOP electric car, an innovative, popular and French approach to urban mobility.

The project is the brainchild of a visionary entrepreneur, Christophe Winkelmuller, founder of L'Agence Automobilière in 2004, who is now championing a renewed vision of the car: simpler, more accessible and designed for real-life use.

With IPOP, a new generation of electric car is born, designed to meet everyday needs and produced locally. It's a vision that echoes the DNA of Barrisol, a French company based near Mulhouse since 1967, where stretch ceilings and walls are designed and manufactured without outsourcing.

A local landmark and long-standing partner of Barrisol, the museum has benefited for over 20 years from the integration of architectural solutions that help to showcase its unique collections. More recently, a luminous wall printed with motifs by François Zenner was also installed in its restaurant area (BK Group), illustrating the continuous development of Barrisol's expertise in the service of cultural venues.

To enhance the presentation of the IPOP vehicle, Barrisol designed and installed structures and panels in the background, creating an immersive setting befitting the event.

The collaboration between Barrisol and IPOP goes even further: Barrisol is proud to be a partner of the project, with a direct integration of its technology in the vehicle, in particular through optional doors created in collaboration with its teams.
