The public artwork for The Smithe tower is a result of the transformation of an original oil painting on canvas, by the artist Ben Reeves, into a digital reproduction, printed on BARRISOL® translucent membranes.
The artwork was specifically configured to seamlessly integrate into the building's soffit of +-7.6m (25’) x 26m (85’).
This work of art is fully backlit using LED system making the effect even more interesting by night.
