The Saint-Hyacinthe aquatic center is distinguished by its singular and innovative architecture, the main shape of the building evoking glaciers. More than 15,000 sq.ft. of Barrisol stretch ceilings, installed in variable slopes, recreate the effect inside, offering swimmers a refined, welcoming atmosphere.
The consortium of architects from ACDF & TLA specified alternating finishes for the different pools - sometimes lacquered, sometimes matte, all in immaculate white.
This building, which houses several pools, required ceilings that were waterproof, acoustic, safe, aesthetically pleasing and durable; BARRISOL’s reputation was there for the taking.
