For the Spring 2023 Fashion Week, Louis Vuitton and Barrisol have created a giant flower-shaped structure, the scene of the fashion shows and presentation of the designer.

The star of the brand's spring 2023 runway show was a spooky King Kong-sized flower from which the models escaped.

"During fashion week, we'll be highlighting the details we saw on the runways that surprised or delighted us. Bring on the sculptural shoes, the giant inflatable mannequins and the antique fork jewelry.
It was a monster, huge and disturbing. It was a flower, striking and alluring. It was both, and that was the point. We talked about the idea of a show of strange monsters, traveling from city to city as part of a circus," said artist Philippe Parreno of the origins of the giant structure at the heart of Louis Vuitton's spring 2023 show set. You want to be deceived, in a way. You are attracted to it and you are seduced by it. And yet, you know it's not true. The flower-shaped installation was composed of dozens of blood-red panels, which rose in a courtyard of the Louvre: 28 meters high (more than 90 feet) at its highest point and made from about 3,900 square meters of ripstop nylon...".
